COMPARE OPERATING MODELS

Choose who does the work. Then choose the tools.

Choose who does the work. Then choose the tools.

Software, remote operations, and local management solve different parts of the same job. Compare the people, responsibilities, and costs behind each option before choosing your setup.

Compare the same six questions.

Who owns the daily work?

With software, your team assigns the work. With delegated operations, the service scope names the tasks the provider handles. With local management, clarify both administrative and on-site responsibilities.

Who answers guests?

A messaging tool and staffed guest coverage are separate things to compare. Check hours, languages, property knowledge, complex-issue escalation, and who makes decisions.

Who goes to the property?

Clarify cleaning, inspections, maintenance, urgent callouts, and vendor payments. Remote coordination and physical work need a clear handoff, regardless of the software or service model.

What is the total cost?

Compare platform and performance fees, your staffing time, channel charges, local vendors, and other operating costs using the same revenue and occupancy assumptions.

Airbnb distinguishes full access, calendar-and-messaging access, and calendar access for co-hosts. Permissions control access; owners still need to agree what work the co-host will do. Read Airbnb’s official guide. Reviewed October 6, 2026.

As one example, Hostaway documents calendars, an inbox, pricing, reporting, and channel management. A feature list alone does not establish the people or tasks included in a service agreement. Read its official product guide. Reviewed October 6, 2026.

Where does Hospitri fit?

Hospitri combines software and AI with a dedicated Virtual Property Manager, a 24/7 English and Spanish guest team, revenue management, channel management, cleaning coordination, maintenance schedules, and reporting. Discuss your current local arrangements when reviewing the service.

When should I consider software with my own team?

Consider this setup when your team can cover the operational work and mainly needs connected tools. Map guest coverage, pricing, reporting, and local responsibilities before comparing software features.

When does local support matter?

Whenever work requires someone at the property, identify who will attend, how they are contacted, who approves the work, and how it is paid for. Confirm these arrangements in each provider’s scope.

How should I compare prices?

Use the same listing count, nightly rate, occupancy, and time period. Include software or platform fees, performance fees, staffing, local services, and other operating costs. An estimate after management fees is not the same as profit.

What are Hospitri’s current platform fees?

Starter covers 1–5 listings at $65 per listing per month; Professional covers 6–15 at $55; and Growth covers 16–24 at $50. Each adds an 8% performance fee. For 25 or more listings, discuss an Enterprise quote. All tiers include the complete platform.

What should be clear before I choose?

Agree who controls listings and accounts, who communicates with owners and guests, which decisions need approval, how complex issues escalate, what local work is covered, and what happens when the arrangement ends.
